Have you ever felt like you were meant for something more—something deeper, rooted, and aligned with the mujer you truly are?
That was me. I spent years moving through the corporate world, collecting titles and checking off the boxes of “success.” But even as I climbed, something was missing. Deep down, I felt disconnected—from my joy, my creativity, my culture, and my true self.

I’m Ursula Rodriguez, founder of Soleil Vida Studio and proud creator behind Inner Mija—a movement born from healing, cultura, and corazón.
This work didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a breaking point—and a breakthrough.

A JOURNEY BACK TO MYSELF

As a first-generation Mexican American, I was inspired by the strong Latinas in my familia who used their handmade crafts as a form of self-expression. I am proud to be a descendant of great artisanal ancestors. Creativity wasn’t just a hobby; it was a lifeline. But like many of us, I internalized the pressure to do more, be more, and prove myself. I traded my creativity for productivity, my joy for perfectionism, and somewhere along the way, I forgot who I was.

It wasn’t until anxiety and burnout caught up with me that I realized: I wasn’t living—I was surviving. And I was done with that.

So I chose me. I chose healing. And I chose to reconnect with my Inner Mija—my inner most child who is full of curiosity, playfulness and creativity.

THE BIRTH OF SOLEIL VIDA STUDIO

Soleil Vida means “Sun Life,” and it represents the light I reclaimed through my own healing journey. This isn’t just a space for crafting—it’s a sanctuary for self-discovery, cultura, and comunidad.

Here, I guide mujeres through intentional creative workshops where healing meets handmade. We explore identity, self-worth, and reconnect with our Inner Mija through crafting, conversation, and comunidad. It’s not about making things perfect—it’s about making space for your authentic self to shine.

Every workshop is infused with mindfulness, positive self-talk, and a whole lot of corazón. We honor our roots while rewriting the narratives that no longer serve us.

WHY INNER MIJA MATTERS

Inner Mija is a love letter to the mujer inside all of us—the one who’s still healing, still growing, still learning to take up space.
It’s for the Mija who’s been told to shrink, stay quiet, or push through.
It’s for the Mija who’s ready to speak up, and GLOW up from within.

I created this brand as a reminder that you don’t need to earn your rest, your joy, or your creativity. You’re worthy now. Just as you are.
